Accounts Receivable Officer

A leading operator is seeking a diligent Accounts Receivable Officer to join their high-performing finance team in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a dual-region portfolio, as the business prepares for an upcoming office relocation. Key Responsibilities

In this end-to-end (E2E) receivables role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the sales ledger and ensuring optimal cash flow through:

• Managing the E2E receivables lifecycle for the NZ ledger, with secondary support for the Australian ledger.
• Engaging with key stakeholders to facilitate the timely resolution of outstanding accounts and maintain optimal cash flow.
• Investigating and resolving complex ledger discrepancies through diligent analysis and professional communication with Medical and Safety clients.
• High-accuracy processing of unallocated cash and daily bank reconciliations.
• Assisting with month-end ageing reports and providing insights into DSO.

Your Profile

• Minimum 2+ years of dedicated Accounts Receivable experience.
• SAP proficiency is a significant advantage; however, candidates with strong experience in other Tier-1 ERPs (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite) will be highly regarded.
• A solid understanding of GST requirements and double-entry bookkeeping.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a professional approach to debt recovery.
